Microneedling | Collagen Induction therapy

Microneedling is the process of creating small “micro injuries” in the skin that evoke the body’s healing mechanisms and sends collagen and elastin to the site. When this happens, your skin is rebuilt stronger and more youthful looking than before. These punctures can be created on just about any part of the skin and go through only the epidermis and part of the dermis.

Think about it like aerating your lawn. When you aerate your lawn, you perforate the soil with holes in order to allow water and other nutrients in and allow the grass to grow and flourish. Microneedling has a similar effect on your skin. When the micro injuries are created, your body is signaled to send collagen and elastin to rebuild the area. Additionally, it affords you the opportunity to apply certain topical treatments that will be able to penetrate the skin more easily.

It helps to quickly treat issues such as wrinkles, sagging, fine lines, acne scarring, stretch marks, hair regeneration, hyperpigmentation, skin texture, large pores and can improve the look of scars. It is also safe to use on all skin types and textures, as well as various parts of the body.
